From 2011 to 2014, AMD joined hands with the Cycling Association to organize the AMD Tour of Hualien, which received enthusiastic responses from cyclists around the world. AMD invited channel partners to participate as title sponsors, increasing team interaction between AMD and channel partners through cycling events, and narrowing the distance between them. At the same time, through the hosting of the event, consumers have more opportunities to learn about the AMD brand and connect it to the APU that AMD has been promoting in recent years. The technology of integrating CPU and GPU on a single chip can not only provide everyone with more excellent performance and visual quality, but most importantly, it consumes less power. It is AMD and its IT partners who actually fulfill their promise of green technology to consumers with green products.
In addition to supporting the green technology lifestyle concept through practical actions, AMD also calls on all members of the Green IT Cycling Alliance to use cycling to support the practice of green living spirit.
